Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
Pages on this site load Google Analytics 4. It records page views, the device type, rough location (country/region from your IP, which Google truncates), where you came from, and the buttons you click, including clicks that leave for Amazon, YouTube or IMDb. When you click a “Watch on Amazon” link that runs through our /go/ redirect, our server also sends that click to Google Analytics as a server-side event (Google calls this the Measurement Protocol). It carries a random client id and the link id, not your name or email. Google’s own handling of that data is described in its privacy policy. You can block analytics with a browser extension or by turning off cookies; the site works either way.
The /go/ click log
Every “Watch on Amazon” link on this site and in our social posts goes through ketoprojectmovie.com/go/<id> so I can tell which clip or post actually sends people to the film. For each click we store: the link id, the platform it came from, the time, the referring page, whether it was a phone or a desktop, the browser’s user-agent string, and a one-way hashed (SHA-256, salted) version of your IP address. We never store the IP itself, and the hash cannot be turned back into it. Nothing in that log is sold or shared. It lives in this site’s own database.
If you give me your email address (the “three scenes we cut” form, the “I just finished it” page, or a download), it goes into our customer system, which is a GoHighLevel account run by Functionised. Your address is tagged as a film contact and only film-related email is sent to it: the welcome email, at most one digest a week, and, if you told us you finished the film, a short request for an honest review. You are never added to any medical practice list, and nobody at the practice contacts you unless you tick the box asking about FIT Lab in Colts Neck. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from everything. Write to jgoetz@functionised.com and I will delete your record within a few days.
Amazon Associates
Functionised Productions is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. When the affiliate program is active, links on this site, on our own social profiles and in emails to people who signed up here carry our Associates tag; Amazon then knows the purchase came from us. Links we send to journalists, in PDFs, in print or in other people’s communities are never tagged. The price you pay is the same either way.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets its own cookies (the _ga family). The site itself sets none that identify you. Embedded YouTube players load from youtube-nocookie.com and only after you press play.
Children
The film is rated 13+. The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If any of the above changes, this page changes the same day. Last updated: September 27, 2026.
